Quarterback

Starter: Sam Darnold

Darnold is entering his second season with the Panthers and will be looking to improve on his performance from 2022. He showed flashes of potential, but also struggled with consistency. Walker is a veteran backup who has shown he can be a capable starter in a pinch. Corral is a rookie who was drafted in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft. He has a lot of upside, but will need to develop in order to see significant playing time.

Running Back

Hubbard is a speedy back who can make big plays in the open field. Ricci is a versatile fullback who can block, catch passes, and run the ball.

Smith is a shifty slot receiver who can make big plays in the short passing game. Higgins is a veteran receiver who can provide depth and leadership.

Tight End
