The application form requires you to provide basic information about yourself, your family, and your education and work history. You must also submit a recent photograph of yourself.

What Happens After You Apply for the DV Lottery?

If you are selected in the DV lottery, you will be notified by the U.S. Department of State. You will then be required to submit additional documentation, such as your birth certificate, passport, and police clearance certificate.

Once your documentation has been reviewed and approved, you will be scheduled for an interview at a U.S. embassy or consulate.
