Renowned filmmaker Guruprasad passed away, his body was discovered in a decomposed state at his apartment in Bengaluru's Horamavu on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, police officers visited Guruprasad's residence after his neighbors called and said they had not seen him in a few days and that a foul smell was coming from his apartment.
The police suspects that Guruprasad may have committed suicide three days ago. The exact cause of death is yet to be determined pending autopsy results.
