Lennon Miller: 'My dad's only been hard on me once - and I needed it'
Former Wallabies star James Miller has congratulated his son Lennon on a breakthrough Super Rugby season, saying his son needed some tough love along the way.
In an interview with the Sydney Morning Herald, Miller said he had only ever been hard on his son once, and it was something that the young flyhalf needed.
Miller said he had told his son that he needed to be more consistent with his game, and that he needed to work on his kicking.
"I told him that he needed to be more consistent with his game, and that he needed to work on his kicking," Miller said.
"He took it on board and he's worked really hard on it."
Miller said he was proud of the way his son had responded to the challenge, and that he was now one of the best young flyhalves in the country.
"He's a very talented player, and I'm really proud of the way he's developed," Miller said.
"He's got a big future ahead of him."

He is expected to make his Test debut against Argentina in the opening game of the tournament.
Miller's rise to prominence has been a rapid one.
