Lions at Packers: Detroit Wins

The Detroit Lions beat the Green Bay Packers 15-9 on Sunday at Lambeau Field.
Detroit improves to 2-1 with the win while the Packers drop to 1-2 on the season.
A 20-yard field goal from Lions’ kicker Dominik Eberle gave Detroit a 3-0 lead midway through the second quarter, and the Packers never did regain the lead.
After tying the game 3-3 at halftime on a Mason Crosby 33-yard field goal, the Packers missed two field goals in the second half.
Crosby missed a 40-yard attempt wide right in the third quarter and a 51-yard attempt in the fourth quarter that was blocked by Detroit’s Aidan Hutchinson.
Lions quarterback Jared Goff completed 14-of-26 passes for 137 yards and an interception.
Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 23-of-39 passes for 227 yards and an interception.
Detroit’s defense held the Packers to only 15 rushing yards on 14 attempts.
The Lions had three sacks, two interceptions, and forced a fumble in the victory.
Amon-Ra St. Brown led the Lions with seven receptions for 65 receiving yards.
Romeo Doubs led the Packers with four catches for 55 yards.
The Lions have now won three straight games against the Packers.
The two teams will meet again in Detroit on Thanksgiving Day.
