Live Coverage of the Chicago Bears
Bears Fall to Packers, 27-10
The Chicago Bears suffered a disappointing loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, falling 27-10 at Soldier Field. The Bears' offense struggled throughout the game, failing to score a touchdown until the fourth quarter.
Bears quarterback Justin Fields completed just 15 of 27 passes for 179 yards and one interception. He was sacked four times and pressured throughout the game by the Packers' defense.
The Bears' running game was equally ineffective, as they gained just 86 yards on the ground. David Montgomery led the way with 54 yards on 12 carries, but he was unable to find any running room against the Packers' stout front seven.
Defense Struggles Again
The Bears' defense, which had been a bright spot in recent weeks, also had a poor performance against the Packers. They allowed Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers to complete 19 of 25 passes for 220 yards and two touchdowns.
The Packers also ran the ball effectively against the Bears, gaining 163 yards on the ground. Running back Aaron Jones led the way with 76 yards and a touchdown.
The Bears' defense was unable to generate any pressure on Rodgers, and they also struggled to cover the Packers' receivers. Rodgers had plenty of time to throw, and he found his receivers open all over the field.
What's Next for the Bears?
The Bears' loss to the Packers drops them to 3-5 on the season. They will travel to Dallas next week to face the Cowboys.
The Cowboys are one of the best teams in the NFC, and they will be a tough matchup for the Bears. The Bears will need to improve their offense and defense if they want to have a chance to win.
