New York Marathon Qualifying Times
Qualifying Standards
The New York City Marathon is one of the most prestigious marathons in the world, and as such, it has strict qualifying standards. To qualify for the 2023 New York City Marathon, runners must meet the following time standards:
- Men: 2 hours 53 minutes
- Women: 3 hours 10 minutes
Runners who have not met the qualifying standards can still enter the lottery for a chance to run in the marathon. The lottery is open to all runners, regardless of their qualifying status. The odds of being selected through the lottery are very low, so it is important to meet the qualifying standards to ensure a spot in the marathon.
