New York Red Bulls release 2023 schedule
The New York Red Bulls have released their 2023 schedule, which will see them play 34 regular season games from March 4th to October 21st.
The Red Bulls will open their season on the road against FC Cincinnati on March 4th, before returning home to Red Bull Arena to face the Columbus Crew on March 11th.
The Red Bulls will play 17 home games and 17 away games during the regular season. They will face each of their Eastern Conference opponents twice, and will also play two games against each of the Western Conference teams.
The Red Bulls will have a number of key matchups during the 2023 season, including a home game against the reigning MLS champions, FC Dallas, on April 15th. They will also face their cross-river rivals, New York City FC, twice during the season, on May 6th at Red Bull Arena and on August 19th at Yankee Stadium.
The Red Bulls will be looking to improve on their performance from the 2022 season, when they finished 13th in the Eastern Conference and missed out on the playoffs. The team has made a number of changes to their roster during the offseason, including the addition of Brazilian midfielder Luquinhas and Senegalese forward Jean-Christophe Bahebeck.
The Red Bulls are confident that they have the team to compete for a playoff spot in 2023. With a number of key players returning from injury, and the addition of some talented new signings, the Red Bulls are looking to make a run at the MLS Cup.
