Titans' Amani Hooker Doesn't Practice Wednesday
Hooker dealing with hamstring injury
Tennessee Titans safety Amani Hooker was unable to participate in Wednesday's practice due to a hamstring injury, per the team's official injury report. Hooker was limited in Tuesday's practice, but it's unclear if he aggravated the injury or if the Titans are just being cautious with him.
Hooker has been a key part of the Titans' defense this season, starting 14 games and totaling 62 tackles, two interceptions, and four pass breakups. While he's yet to miss a game this season, he did miss two games in 2021 and four games in 2020 due to hamstring injuries.
The Titans will likely list Hooker as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, but his status will depend on how he progresses throughout the week.
Other Titans injuries
In addition to Hooker, the Titans also had a few other players who were limited in Wednesday's practice. Wide receiver Treylon Burks (concussion) and cornerback Kristian Fulton (groin) were both limited, while defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons (ankle) did not participate.
The Titans will release their final injury report on Friday, and we'll have a better idea of Hooker's status then.
