Josh Jacobs Shines in Raiders' Win Over Broncos
Oakland running back surpasses 1,000 rushing yards in dominant performance
Jacobs' 107 yards and two touchdowns lead Raiders to a 37-12 victory
Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs put on a dominant performance in the team's 37-12 victory over the Denver Broncos on Sunday, surpassing 1,000 rushing yards on the season.
Jacobs carried the ball 20 times for 107 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 5.3 yards per carry. He also caught two passes for 16 yards. His performance helped the Raiders improve to 6-8 on the season and keep their playoff hopes alive.
Jacobs' first touchdown came in the second quarter on a 2-yard run. He added his second touchdown in the third quarter on a 1-yard run.
In addition to Jacobs' performance, the Raiders also got a strong game from quarterback Derek Carr. Carr completed 18 of 27 passes for 250 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran for a touchdown.
The Raiders' defense also played well, holding the Broncos to just 12 points. Linebacker Cory Littleton led the defense with 11 tackles.
The Raiders will look to continue their winning ways next week when they host the Cleveland Browns.
